About 2-Right
From pub gigs to arena tours………… from first demo to record deals and all points in-between.
“On some tours I’ve been the TM, driver, backline tec, merch seller and minder, navigating the choppy seas of rock’n’roll excess and the rising tide of fame.”
2-Right-Productions was established in 2004 by musician / writer Stee Johno based in Brighton, one of Britains hotspots for live music and a hub for music business activity. There was gap in the Brighton music scene with bands still having to travel to London and beyond to pick-up transport and back-line for touring.
Stee has teamed up with Vanessa Gurd who’s background in public relations started with London based businesses organising club events in the Trance and Techno scene, working with international acts along with the free party scene in the early 90s. Vanessa then moved on to work in Press and TV Production.

A term from the 2RPs handbook is
“expect the plan to change”
In Rock’n’Roll the plan can always change, often last minute, especially when an artist is catapulted through the ranks.
Our default answer is “Yeah, I reckon we can make that happen!”
What People Say
For my first year of festivals I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for both myself and the band than travelling with Stee. His reliability, experience and wonderfully encouraging nature gave me confidence and allowed us to concentrate fully on the gig. I hope to always work together.

We have used Stee and his vans for the last 3 years and could not recommend more highly. He is an experienced professional but still understands how to keep a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. His vans are comfortable and safe and have provided us with some amazing experiences whilst touring.
We have never been late to a gig with Stee at the helm and always feel as though he is in complete control of any situation.
Stee has a good knowledge of touring and festival life and often goes above and beyond to help his artists feel comfortable to achieve their job.
I will continue to recommend and use him.Speakman Sound
After 15 years of touring, Stee is our favorite road manager by far. He keeps all the various personalities happy and the van or tour bus rolling. No problem is too big or too small for our man Stee to solve!
Jenny Hill ESAS saxophonist
As the Drummer for the Easy Star All-stars, I’ve worked with Stee and 2Rightproductions for the past 15 years. Stee was the first person to welcome us to the UK back in 2004. Coming from overseas, Its definitely a pleasure working with a team that truly knows the UK and Europe inside out, and knows how to handle all the challenges of touring with professional experience. Stee always keeps a smile on his face no matter what, and that is unusual and valuable in this business. Touring bands and musical artists in general come with a unique set of needs, egos, and personalities, and Stee always finds a way to make everyone feel equally respected, and that is also extremely unusual in the entertainment business.
